With our vineyard located on our farm in East Gresford, our wines offer a different expression of the Hunter Valley. First planted in 1826 by Charles Boydell, and arguably one of the first vineyard sites in Australia, our sustainably farmed vineyard reaps the benefits of the nearby Barrington tops and pure waters of the Allyn River. To supplement our Hunter Valley range, we source cooler climate varietals from like minded growers in the NSW Hilltops and Orange regions.

During your relaxed, seated tasting our team will guide you through your choice of six wines (or let them know the style of wines you enjoy, love to share, or cellar & they will tailor your tasting to help you find a new favourite or two). Book your experience via the button below and we’ll have a table waiting for you so all you have to do is relax & enjoy.
Bar Food
Pair your tasting with a dish or two from the bar snack menu, or immerse yourself in an experience of seasonal, locally sourced produce expertly paired with Boydell’s wines in our restaurant. Prefer to sip & settle in? That’s okay too. We welcome you to settle in with a glass, or bottle of wine and a bar snack at anytime.

- Open: Thursday to Saturday from 11am to 5pm – We are trading our usual hours across Christmas and New Year.
- Tastings: $10pp for six wines
- Duration: please allow 45 minutes
- Bookings: are preferred (but not essential) for Cellar Door tastings
